Director
The Director of Protective Services is responsible for all aspects of public safety and emergency response in the Town of Beaurivage. He oversees the fire department, police, municipal enforcement, dog control and emergency management.

Fire Department
The Beaurivage Fire Department is responsible for all aspects of fire protection and rescue services in the town.
The Beaurivage Fire Department operates two fire stations. Station 1 is located in the Richibucto Ward and Station 2 in the Saint-Louis-de-Kent Ward.
Close to 45 dedicated volunteer firefighters train and respond to dozens of calls each month, whether it be fires, rescues, accidents or medical calls.

Police Service
The town of Beaurivage is served by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police,
South-East District.
The detachment for the Kent Region is located in the Town of Beaurivage.

Municipal Enforcement
The municipal enforcement service is provided by an officer from Maritime Enforcement Services Inc. in cooperation with the Kent Regional Services Commission and the other six municipalities in the region.
The Director of Protective Services is also responsible for municipal enforcement when the officer is not available.

Emergency measures are the means used to provide relief and assistance in the event of, for example, a natural disaster or any other event that may lead to public disorder.
